TEACHER TRAINING 2018

This Programme is unique and very different in its structure, content and methodology to other teacher trainings. Our focus is giving you the best tools and learning strategies to develop your own practice to the best of your ability as well as inspire those you teach to do the same.

We all grow and develop skills much because of the supportive, encouraging and inclusive environment which Pip and Eugene facilitate. AcroYoga Dance is combining so many of the things I love - so much that I now find myself studying on their teacher training, to inspire others the way they inspire me.

EUGENE VEGAN BUTCHER

Eugene is a Senior Yoga Teacher registered with Yoga Alliance Professionals, co-founder of AcroYogaDance and a Master NLP practitioner.  Before discovering AcroYoga Eugene taught martial arts as a senior instructor and international examiner helping many become black belts and excellent instructors.  His ability to break down and simplify advanced tequniques is as valuable in acroyogadance as it was in martial arts and he has innovated several handstand, hand-to-hand and acroyogadance training methods. Eugene is been featured regularly in Yoga Magazine, Om Yoga Magazine, and Vegan Lifestyle Magazine.

PIP ELYSIUM

Pip Elyisum is a Yoga Teacher, facilitator for AcroYogaDance and Handstand Practioner. Pip has shadowed and studied with inspiring Acrobatic Handstand teachers, Master Sainaa and Fons, and continues to share her passion through Standing AcroDance and AcroYogaDance. Pip is dedicated to inspire and help students achieve their dreams, encourage success and rise to the top of their capability by practicing AcroYogaDance. Pip maintains a weekly class schedule and leads monthly workshops worldwide. She regularly writes for The Handstand Journal, Yoga Magazine and Om Yoga Magazine.

This Programme works around the AcroYogaDance syllabus. We refine the art and understanding of AcroYogaDance with consistent practice. All AcroYogaDance students progress through a tiered syllabus with beginners first progressing to level 1. The syllabus is designed to develop both your Teaching skills and practice in a structured progressive manner.

We are here to support your progression through these first 10 levels of the AcroYogaDance syllabus.  Each level is assessed by the AcroYogaDance Team before you progress to the next level.
Once completing a level, your videos will need to be submitted online to be assessed, or occasionally you may get the chance to attend a grading event live in London,
mainly because it's more fun to do it that way.

The TT programme itself is hosted in London once a month for 10 hours Training. If you are unable to attend a given TT weekend there will have the chance to replace later in the year (please notify the date you are unable to attend).

You will be given the opportunity to Assist at Workshops & Festivals, this may be 90 minute, 3 Hour, 11 Hour Trainings. This is the most effective way of learning the ropes, with the opportunity to demo what you know in a non pressure environment.

Pip & Eugene have created an incredibly supportive & caring community, family of acroyogis where everyone is valued and encouraged. I’ve enjoyed it so much I’m doing their Teacher Training

Pippa Berger / AYD Trainee

AcroYogaDance loves bringing beautiful and elegant transitions, making them simple so that with practice can evolve into stunning sequences which eventually will feel like a dance.

We want to give you the tools to walk away feeling confident in your own practice as well as being competent on how to coach others and run structured classes.

Repetition is the mother of skill which will enable you to feel the movement and automatically respond to your partner with fluidity and grace.
